My wife forgot her lockscreen password, so we decided to do a hard reset. We were told to hold down the power and volume up buttons which should take us to a recovery screen. I think she pressed a couple of other buttons though, so now we're in download mode. Is there any way to get out of this?

Additionally, if we do get out of this, how exactly do you do a factory reset for the tab 10.1? All the tutorials kept mentioning pressing the "Home" button, so it's obviously for the earlier versions of the Tab. Thanks for the help.
