Default Galaxy Tab security

I have had my Tab 10.1 WiFi + 3G for four days now and am getting my head round using it. Updated to Flash 11 etc and other updates on offer. My main concern is security. Whereas I have antimalware, antivirus software on my laptop's and PC's I am not conversant with those same requirements for the Tab. What are the suggestions for security?

I don't run an AV on mine, but I do recognize that the threat of malware does exist on android. Google has even been know to yank malicious apps from the market at times.

Lookout seems to be pretty popular app, but I haven't used it myself.

Had this been an actual emergency, we would have fled in terror, and you would not have been notified.

My security measures are:

1. Don't download every app under the sun. I only install those app that are around for a while in the Android Market and are reputable. I only have a couple good games on my tab and that's it. I don't download themes and I don't download wallpaper app. I make my own wallpapers. Seriously, you do not need a lot of apps.

2. Sign up for Samsung DIVE. It allows you to track your device and do remote wipe if needed.

Hope this helps.
