Seems extremely unlikely. Tw Launcher is the Tab’s default launcher and works just fine in virtually all Tabs.
What usually happens in similar scenarios is that a well-intentioned but misguided app killer kills an essential app (like the launcher) over and over again – and this constant killing and restarting is what drains the battery. Left to its own devices, the launcher (or other suspected culprit) would behave just fine.
Bottom line: app killers are often counterproductive, so much so that most experts simply recommend against using them in virtually all circumstances.
I don’t know enough about Timeriffic to be able to make an educated guess as to whether or not it might be involved here.
