According to sammobile.com, the 4.1.1 French update is for the GT-P3110, build number (on the About device page) P3110XXCLK5. If your build number is P3110XWBLK1, the latest android version available is 4.0.4.

Hi,
so it looks like I am out of it with a P3100XXLD4
Build P3100XWALD2. ?
I live in France and received this update automatically a few days ago.
It completely changed the configuration of my home pages and I had to put all the shortcuts back. The browser is now much slower, the favourites are clearly displayed now but take an age to come up.
The worst thing though is that the built in Gmail app no longer receives mail

Russell.
Thanks Russell.. looks like there are a few issue with the new update.
O.K. I've now got Gmail working again by doing a reset to factory defaults. (<Settings> <Backup and reset> <Factory data reset>). If you do this, make sure all your data is backed up!!
However, all the downloaded apps have to be re-installed which is a pain in the ****. I see no advantage in this upgrade and as I said before the web browser is annoyingly slow.
I grabbed the latest release from XDA-developers, and am enjoying it. I have the P3113, IR Blaster works, so the Peel App is functioning. Custom script to swap external SD for internal works - and I have never used the stock browsers, have always used Boat browser and it works great - flash works as well
To each his own, but I like it so far
Regards,
