Default Tab losing sync functionality after battery dying

I've discovered that my GT 7.0 Plus is losing all sync functionality if I forget to place it on the charger and it dies. When I charge it back up and turn it on, it will show some date in the year 2000 and a time that is way off. In addition, none of the Google services will work or sync anymore. The strange thing is I can still use the Internet in the browser, just not any apps. Anyone else experienced something like this? I was hoping it would go away with the ICS update but it happened to me again the other day and I had to do a hard reset and start all over again.

I had never had this happen prior to the ICS update but just recently did have this exact same thing happen. I don't think I ever had the battery die on me when on Honeycomb.

Makes me wonder if they all have the same problem...which would be a major issue. I have a 10.1 Tab as well and it doesn't have the same issue.
