Default SAMOLED+ just might be the irresistible feature

So I had pretty much given up on the 8.9 because I couldn't get past needing an adapter for everything. But being that SAMOLED+ is a Samsung creation and noone else is likely to have it, even if they make a 7 inch tablet, I just might be sold on the 7.7. Damn you exclusivity!

You might not be able to buy any tablet or phone if Apple is successful in it's patent wars and that is what you call exclusivity.

When Samsung announced the 8.9 and 10.1 tablets, I was quite worried. These sizes are too big to be carried around, and too big to be used as a reader. Now I am glad that Samsung continued the 7" series, even though it is now 7.7". I am wondering if it will be too big to be carried around as a phone.

The screen is awesome. But I am kinda disappointed with some developers coming out with tegra3 only games. I currently have the 10.1 but am strongly considering the ipad3. Simply because there are a lot more good rpg games. Also the specs of the ipad 3 look to be off the charts. Any comments? Thanks

We are on a similar boat as of now, I too am considering the Ipad3 not because of the games or apps but plainly because the screen issues on SuperAMOLED is quite annoying, at least with Apple's products I only have to check for backlight bleeding and deadpixels. Application wise games on the iOS will always be better than andriod and I do agree that there are a ALOT of pretty nice RPG games on the iOS, but I dislike the lack of customizations and the lack of widgets/live panels. I hate having to launch an app just to check facebook/twitter/youtube for updates.

I don't care about customization so much on tablets....
The screen on the ipad 3 is rumored to be an LCD...
here are the screen specs...

reportedly testing suppliers' current shipments of 2048 x 1536 resolution 9.7-inch displays. Now that iBooks 2 has been launched (as of 19 January 2012

I looked at the amount of apps on the ipad wow.
I read the specs of the ipad3 possibly quad core.
The pixel density will be off the charts.
Lack of customization does not bother me so much on the
ipad as I do not change up my tablet much. I am more of a heavy
gamer web browser and ereader kinda user.......
Android phone I'm staying with but tablets thats a different story
For a heavy gamer, and web browsing then the new ipad is the better choice, gaming is quite limited on andriod tablets.

I've been using a friend's Ipad2 for the a couple of days and I must say the tablet specific applications are significantly better, andriod only has phone applications stretched out just to fill up the screen. I'll probably return my Tab7.7 due to the screen issues and will probably grab an ipad.

Thats your best bet imo. Android tablets have a way to go software wise
