Hi for a little while now vibrate hasn't been working when I get a text message. It doesn't vibrate either on loud or silent. I've been through EVERY setting on the phone and nothing sorts it out. Vibrate works normally elsewhere on the phone e.g recieving a call.

I think the problem was caused when I downloaded then uninstalled a volume controlling app - but I can't find any files related to the app left on my phone.

Anyone got any ideas? Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried to look if you have some mark here - settings> soundsettings> vibrate> always

Yes I've tried that, I've tried every setting on my phone. I've now downloaded an app called Smart Vibrator which has got the text message vibrator working again, which is good but a bit strange?!
