Hello! I also facing the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy Y phone.
1) Many times, the phone does not ring or show any kind of notification when the caller still hears the full ring and thinks that I am not picking up the phone.
2) When I travel to some location different than my house, the phone does not receive the network signal first, then it receives, then it again does not receive and so on... In such case I have to wait for the signal to come and when it comes, quickly make a call.. during the call the signal is NOT lost...
BUT, NOW I HAVE TO ADD ONE THING MORE TO THE FIRST ISSUE:
3) When I try to call my Y mobile from my landline phone , and the first issue (above) is taking place (my mobile not ringing).., during that call when I Press any Button on my mobile, the mobile Starts Ringing... So, does this happen with anyone??, This may lead us to some better understanding of the problem...
But, the issue is still not resolved... I will now consider upgrading the firmware to 2.3.6...
What say guys?
