Download latest firmware for Indian Galexy Y S5360

Release date December 7,2011

Today i have upgraded mine Samsung galext S5360 with latest firmware DDKK1 and i also save it from as backup

so i am uploading here for other Indian samsung y users who is not able to get firmware for his/her mobile

This firmware is only for Indian Samsung galaxy y S5360,directly saved from Samsung kies S5360DDKK1_S5360ODDKJ3_S5360DDKK1_HOME.tar means DDKK1 released at 12/7/2011

use multiodin to flash with this firmware ,enjoy

i tried flashing my phone using odin...but it failed....i uploaded your file in the pda section....tried checking re-partition and unchecking it.....but still it failed.....and what is multi odin???...i am using odin 3 v1.84...can you please post a tutotial...would be really gr8 if you do..thankx

i think u have to enable one package in odin multi download,then it will enable ONE Package option at right down side ,from there u can use

please ask some expert who actually flashed by odin.i always use kies

Hey blackperl can you tell me the location of the folder from where you have got this file. I think I can flash it my placing it in the same folder from where you got this file.

from Temp folder

go to Run and type "%temp%" without quotes and hit enter

There is an app for that which is incompatible with Galaxy Y..
I'd get an apk somehow and test it for you but am feeling lazy for now :P

Hi there, the latest firmware (updated 2-3 days ago) is DDKL1. You can update via Kies.

But I am getting some trouble with this (DDKL1), the phone restarts after every few minutes!

It is not compatible in the market, the apk from the link I gave u works

TV applications- I dont think so(I mean it doesnt HELP.. but TV apps do work).. it helps you run some 3D games properly..

Galaxy Y's processor doesn't support flash, but if you just wish to view videos and not flash websites.. then it would work good.. as youtube app or native video app takes over if you encounter .flv in browser.

I'd suggest you update it using KIES.. if that doesn't work.. then try this or anything else AT YOUR OWN RISK..
but then.. I am not as experienced or even a developer for that matter..

this is official indian 2.3.6 ddkk1 firmware for this phone...it contains all files required in odin and not like many who provide only one file i.e one packaged...

I upgraded via wifi download direct in phone by "CHECK UPDATE" from settings.

i rooted my phone and uninstalled some system apps like yahoo finance, weather clock,email. and some more... now when i try to Update my phone using wifi ,,it shows 11mb update available and when i download it and during install it fails after completing 24% ...i dont know what goes wrong...pls help me to update my phone.... pls post rply on ankitjain.likeit@gmail.com

I have upgraded my firmware version to DDLA3, which is latest.

But I am frequently getting the annoying "SD card removed Unexpectedly" problem.

Also, my mobile freezes frequently.

Please suggest me.

2.3.6 Android update repaired my problem with occasional random freesing and rebooting, witch rendered my phone useless..

Truth be told, I was a bit nervous about not getting my phone to work at all..

Updated via WIFI...

It fixed SD card not detection error.

I have updated my firmware to S5360DDLC2. Earlier version firmware that I used didn't have "SD card removed unexpectedly problem". But now in S5360DDLC2 version, i get this problem. Each time i restart my mobile when above problem appears. Is there any new version firmware available so that this problem can be avoided?

do not update via kies..its just a waste of time and doesnt even work...best is to do it over wifi...i got 2 updates of 4.20MB and 0.14 MB..

guys i'm having severe problems with the latest update. Network automatically switches from GSM to Dual mode. And now the packet data completely stopped working. Please suggest a stable firmware that I could download and use
