Default Finally found a use for the Gem

Since this phone is all but useless in its limited configuration out of the box, and rooting has thus far been unobtainable, and loading the 2.2 update from Samsung rendered it unable to make/receive calls or use 3G, my little Gem was just collecting dust. Then a young friend of mine mentioned how much he wanted a tablet just to play some games on his wireless network. Since the Gem was now on 2.2, I was able to enable apps2sd, giving him plenty of room to load up some of the games he wanted to play. Lousy phone, not bad mini-tablet. At least it's no longer collecting dust!

~ Android... because anything less would probably be an iPhone.
