Okay, sooo... My friend has the same phone ( an android phone ) as me, and she can connect hers to wi-fi in school and mine can't. I'm sooo frustrated can anyone tell me whats wrong with it or how to connect to the wi-fi in school for me? :S My Phone is Samsung Galaxy Q. And I heard that when you Root it you can get wi-fi anywhere? :S help ? :S

From what I was able to find, the Samsung Galaxy Q (Canada) is the same phone as the US Samsung Gravity Smart, so I'm putting the thread here in the hopes someone can help you.

If the phone radio is defective it would be next to impossible to connect to any available wifi. Before you blow a head gasket(pun intended), have the phone checked out by a technician. I had the same problem - I got the phone replace and everything was good after. Good luck!
