Default When can we expect ii5?

Although it's reassuring to now be on the official ii4 release it is frustrating to know a better firmware exists and this keyboard is doing my head in! How long will we be waiting for ii5?

it doesnt mean its better firmware cos it has a higher number, it just means that its the latest version that the operator deems as acceptable.

each operator has their own standards. i know for a fact o2's accreditation is very strict and only released g8 as they had no choice as delays had already been made.

ii5 has not been accredited by o2 uk and they will be testing further updates. they have pushed ii4 to NPS in the meantime.

other areas are still on h8
on DE and uk have updated to I versions

EDIT:
IMO its not very likely youll see a uk version of ii5

Yeah, there won't be much difference between I4 and I5 anyway. Its more likely O2 will jump to the next firmware and test that when its released.

If you're adament to have the latest software use odin. You can always downgrade again for waranty. I'd highly recomend the Hero Galaxo rom too.

I'm sticking with H8 given that people are reporting issues with the
keyboard and whatnot. I really wish Samsung gave us a changelog
of what they did in each firmware revision.
