Sad Bell Mobility APN
Hey Guys,

I did a factory reset of my Samsung Galaxy... Not knowing that my APN would reset...

Could someone who is on Bell's Network, post their APN info for me?

Would be very thankful for that :P



(p.s. i know, im a ******, but hey, oh well)

Create a new APN called Bell with these settings as the APN: "pda.bell.ca".

That’s it.

unfortunately, its not the only thing to do, ive done that, i cant send or receive MMS, nor does my GPS work...

3G is dead too...

I typed it all out so that I wouldn't lose it again...

Bell APN

  1. Press the Menu key
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Wireless controls
  4. Tap Mobile networks
  5. Tap Access Point Names
  6. Press the Menu key
  7. Tap New APN


Name: Bell Internet
APN: pda.bell.ca
Proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
Port: 80
MMSC: http://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 610
APN type: Internet + mms
Authentication Type: none

Oh and as far as the 3G goes..... I can go a week without any problems and then I'll go for consecutive days were it just drops the 3G and I have to reboot the phone to get it back.

Same issue before aswell, The 3G will drop every once and a while, but i fully drain the battery daily so i dont have the dropping issue anymore

Thanks again, Saved that on my laptop so i have it too :P

GPS is working again too

I had the same problem, followed your steps, and still nothing!!! Why can't I receive picture messages?!?!

Hi!
I have same problem, what do you put as username and password? the one before MMSC, is it the phone no# I don't know and I don't have hopes that Bell tech will help me at all.

You don't put anything in there. Leave them blank.

I'm having the same problem. I googled ways to fix it, and the only thing I found was APN settings and erase your messages. My next step now is to contact the carrier themselves and see, because if I am paying for it, I prefer to have the ability to use it. Lol.

I had the same problem and I called bell mobility and they gave me the same info as DaSchmarotzer suggested.

i have a problem. when i try to send a MMS, there is a pop up that says "currently unable to send your messge. It will be sent when the service becomes available." and below the picture, it says sending... i checked on bell.ca if my contract allowed me to send and recieve MMS and it said i could. idk what's happening with my phone. HELP! my phone is a Samsung Galaxy W. I dont have a data plan either.
