I'm a iPhone lover and recently ditched my iPhone 4 for the infuse. So far I love it, my only complaint is its not user friendly like the iPhone but thats ok.

My question is does anyone know how to sync your phone contacts with facebook so all your contacts have their facebook profile pic saved WITHOUT adding all your other facebook friends that you dont want in your contact list ?

I am not sure if you can sync your “phone contacts” (the phone contacts that you created yourself or somehow imported into the phone, like via Microsoft Outlook) with Facebook (this is part of the Android Operating System, so no application like Facebook can steal your phone contacts by synching without your knowledge). You could however do the followings:

1) You can sync your Facebook contacts and have them on your phone with pictures.
2) You could filter (look at) phone contacts and/or Facebook contacts, so you could easily sync Facebook contact, look at them only, delete the ones you don’t want, and disable the sync.

Let say you have a contact for James in your phone and you sync with Facebook and you have James as your friend on Facebook, then you will see two contacts for James on your phone. I have heard you could actually link these contact together under the Contacts application. I hope this helps…
