Its not a video, it sends it as a slideshow, if you were to send more than one picture in a text it would act as a slideshow. As far as I know you cant change it. I haven't had any problems with it so far.

I knew if I scrolled down far enough, someone else would have already asked this question!

I do have an issue with all of the .jpgs, .gifs and everything else included in text messages being attached as videos.. when I go to click and save the attachment image, it apparently saves it as an .mpg.. and doesn't give you an option to save as, or where to save it to. There must be some setting that can be changed to remedy this?

Otherwise I'll just have to ask friends to send those kinds of messages as email.. which will save me from paying AT&T some SMS charges as well I guess

I have this same issue...seeing you say it's a slideshow makes sense now, but at the end of the "show" per se the picture goes away. So i have like 5 seconds to look at a picture and then it goes black. Maybe I don't want to "save" or "download" every picture sent to me just to be able to look at it for longer then 5 seconds? Can it not be set as a slideshow?

When you save a pic, does anyone know where it saves it to?

This has to be one of the dumbest ideas anyone has ever come up with! "viewing a pic as a slide show"?! really? And then giving you a 5 second view option? Which makes you hit the pause button in order to view it for more then 5 seconds! grrrrrrrrrrrr

Some of this pics I get come through really clear and full size. Some pics I get from certain phones allow you view it fully in your text screen but when you tap it to view the "slide show" it comes out extremely small. NOT the original size. What's up with that?

How do you make a phone with so many nice features and drop the ball with the most basic things? This is something you would expect with every iphone that comes out every year. They hold back on certain things then the next year put those thing in the new version but still leave out some things. That's so slimmy!

it's not the phone, it is the way their phone sent it to yours.

keep in mind that some of these phones sending to us are school technology...shame on your friends for not keeping up

I can always find my pics in "Gallery" but I would have to explore the sd card a bit to find exactly where they are...I would assume they are in the folder called downloads or download

AT&T introduced the world to a 4.5 inch near-beast. With a different processor here and more RAM there, this could have been their Galaxy S II. Instead, it's closer to a Galaxy S phone than anything. It has a beefier 1.2GHz single-core Humm... Read More
