Default Images stored in photo gallery
Anyone know how to prevent images from being stored into photo gallery?

You have to place empty file named ".nomedia" (the dot at beginning is important!) into the folder you don't want to scan. After that, mount the sdcard and Gallery or Music shouldn't scan directories with .nomedia file. If this doesn't help, restart the phone (for some reasons it was not working before restart on my phone).

Where does this file go once created? I made the file, now nothing is showing up in my gallery folder. oops maybe I did something wrong.

Through your file manager, put it in sdcard, not where all your pics are. Then just copy paste the pics in there.
