Question wifi tether
i have a samsung intercept updated to the latest version (2.2).
i want to enable wifi tethering. i got the app quick settings and enabled wif hotspot through it. it showed up on my wireless device but it has wep password protection. if anyone knows how to find the password please let e know. thanx

You cannot use wifi tether unless you are rooted.

Have you looked at PDAnet? PdaNet -- USB Tether/Bluetooth DUN for Android

You can use an app like Easy tether; not too bad once you have app/program and Samsung-specific patch installed.
