Picture Quality..

Is it just me or is the picture quality really sucky on the mesmerize? I came from the Evo and I used to love the pictures that came out but these pictures don't seem like they come out very clear. Or do I need to just get use to using it?

Can someone post there pics?

Hello neighbor! I to came from Sprint *sigh* and the EVO. The camera quality is not the same. The EVO has a 8megapixel camera where the Mesmerize is only 5. I still love the phone and the service is much, much better than Sprint.

my mez has taken very good pictures. Can't compare to the EVO personally but 99% of camera photos have been very good. Only bad ones have been because of user error or poor lighting.

It takes great pics for a 5.0MP camera. Especially after the 2.3 update. Not sure what changes were made to the camera firmware, but it is one of the better cellphone cameras out there in the 5.0 class, imo.

Most definitely won't compare to a good 8.0, by definition.

If you liked the 8MP quality, I suggest switching to the Motorola Electrify. Although I'm not sure of the comparison of AMOLED and qHD screens between the phones (Mesmerize has AMOLED - Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode), but the Electrify does have the better resolution camera.

As far as the Mesmerize, for the price and age of the phone, it takes some darn good pictures in my opinion (and LaTuFu's as well, apparently).
