yes. Actually if you go to rootzwiki there's beta versions that you can download and install. They're not 100% functional but getting closer everyday.

Whether or not US Cell ever sends out an official release, I can't say. My guess is unlikely since moving forward seems to be more important,

Theoretically possible? Yes.

Likely? No.

The Mez is fast approaching end of life with USCC. I doubt we'll see any more support or updates for it at all.

I know a phone has reached the end of its string when it becomes the "freebie" phone in the store's lineup.

My entire family has their own Mez now, and same for a few friends of ours. All because you can get them for free with some promos now.

The only reason I still have mine, 14 months later, is I am waiting on USCC to give us something besides the Electrify.

Let's hope 1Q 2012 that happens. Dare I say...Samsung Galaxy S II?
