Default Uninstall drivers issue

I'm having trouble with the drivers, just like many others. Now, when trying to uninstall so I can reinstall, I get: Unknown install error. Contact to distributors. Then when I click OK, I get: Fatal error during install.
Any ideas how I should proceed? Thanks.

Are you using windows program to uninstall? Make sure you uninstall everything Samsung related. And for me it made a difference which usb port I used. I have 4 and it was always the most consistent with port 1.

After you uninstall reboot the machine before you do any new install. Hope this helps.

You need to go into regedit and delete all samsung folders. Windows uninstall does not remove them completely.
Hit Ctrl+R or Start, click run and type in
regedit
On the left side, you will see 5 folders
Open (+)
HKEY LOCAL USER
expand(+)
Software
Go down to anything that says Samsung, right click and delete folder.
Do the same for
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE
and
HKEY USER
Look in every software folder to see if there is anything Samsung
Delete everything Samsung

Then do a new download of the Samsung updater and drivers...
