My google maps identifies me in india despite havving active network and wifi connection...anybody else have this issue and can it be fixed?

Theres a thread around here about this. The long and short of it is the AGPS does not work properly with 1.5, so the GPS is iffy on the Moment currently.

Its far more reliable outside than it is indoors in my experience.

I would have suggested searching, however I could not get any results when putting "GPS" into the search parameters.

That is beside the point thou, The thread I have linked has discussed, in detail, the problem you have occuring on your Moment. The thread inludes a possible temporary fix/trick to help in GPS location.

Lets try to keep topics consolidated into a common thread. It helps other users find information faster and more efficently, not to mention less clutter on the board.
