Nuance Voice Control - Default prompt mode seemed extremely sensitive and buggy, almost useless, even going through training. I used Verizon Voyager for 2 yrs with no issues. Changed to "EXPERT" and Nuance works flawlessly now for me.
Just open Voice Control from the apps tray, and then select Menu, and choose Audio Mode.
I haven't tried the new settings yet, but I suspect they will work!
Thank you again!

I just got my Samsung Moment last week. I love it thus far. I am learning a lot about it. This forum actually helped me out when i was looking to buy the phone and had questions so thanks!
Last night I forgot my main adapter cord at my desk at work. I was in a panic. I grabbed my USB cable and plugged it into the phone and then looked for any USB porthole in the house. I found one in my parents' Printer. ( i am visiting them.) My laptop was out so ...
As soon as I plugged it into the printer it started charging my phone. I was so happy. The battery is holding as though it would charge with the wall adapter.
I hope this helps. I am not dumb, but that was really cool!
I've been running cl14 since it came out and just upgraded to the 2.1 DD03 ROM, both were /are operating well. I figured out how to keep cl14 from going into airplane mode and losing connections - leave USB debugging off and never turn wifi on from start.
For battery issues - I noticed that when the system occasionally crashes, it will start up all the apps. The phone will get hot - and then it's a good indication that it's time to shut a few things down. Moxier mail seemed to most likely be the culprit. I used Advanced Task Killer Free to do the dirty work. By keeping a feel for temp (I keep the phone in my pocket, so that's easy), I know when to check for a runaway app. This keeps the battery running fine all day.

I've never experienced the heat from a runaway app I'll be more attentive to that in the future, thanks
Thanks for the tip, it was already on that setting and still doesn't recognize in finder.
<<To connect to a mac computer, do the following steps (borrowed from another site). It should work similarly on a PC:
Turn on USB debugging ("Debug mode when USB is connected"). It will recognize that a USB connection now exists.
You'll get a dialogue with the title "USB Connected" and the text "You have connected your phone to your computer via USB. Select 'Mount' if you want to copy files between your computer and your phone's SD card." It offers options of "Mount" and "Don't Mount". Touch "Mount".
A removable drive will appear in Finder (or on a pc, in My Computer) called "No Name". That's your Micro SD card and you can begin copying files. You'll need to unmount the card for applications on the phone to have access to it. There should be a folder on your SD card that is "My Music" or something similar to that.>>

I had a similar problem when I was using 1.5, it would usually work if I restarted the phone then plugged it in. It works every time with 2.1. I'm using a PC by the way.
You must do it manually by open email ..............add account................enter email.....enter password...............press manual setup..........IMAP account..............server must be imap.mail.yahoo.com.................pres… next................server smtp.mail.yahoo.com..............
I used to use yahoo mail too. Life has been much better since gmail.

Long story short--need to know how to undo that yahoo asia thing. I did an internet explorer upgrade, which was soo necessary. Afterwards, it would not even pull up my mail, because of the Asia thing. I did a system restart, but will eventually need to upgrade my int. explorer, as it is constantly closing on me. How in the hell do we shut off Moxier mail? The stupid sports apps like FB & nascar don't seem to turn on anymore.. I am not sure what I did? Hopefully I didn't turn off updates. =)
And I think Nuance ends up in the memory at times because I accidently hit the key when I set it down.
But MOXIER MAIL I HATE YOU. If you were a person, but you are a memory eating app. Anyone have any idea at all from having this thing startup automatically every two minutes? So frustrating.
ATK (Advanced Task Killer) - from the market (reccomended by a sprint employee who has a moment too) fixed *every* issue I was having (pretty much every issue listed in these forums my phone was doing /eyeroll). I swear by it! It no longer overheats, locks up, battery lasts ALL DAY (and then some) etc...
You do have to run ATK every few hours because some apps open themselves back up, but it's SO worth the "hassle".
I'm sure there are other apps that do the same thing, I just like this one so far!
