gif support

hi I wanted to know if moment supports .gif files yet? I get a lot of mms mail and wanted to know if it supports it?

From what I've seen on MY moment, gif files don't play at all. The phone will display the first frame, but that's all you're going to get.

yeah same as I remember it. I was about to switch back to moment from tp2 but didn't know if it was fixed yet.

Regular .gif pictures work but animated gif files do not. Most people don't miss animated gif's. The only reason I miss them is most mobile radar images on the nws weather site are animated gif's. The palm pre just got gif support in a firmware update. I hope it gets added to the moment but I'm pessimistic given the frequency of updates so far.

pretty much. i get joke .gif everyday so no reason to give that up until moment can support it and knowing sprint its going to be a long while before they do.
