I am about to order the Samsung Moment, but want to know if the Cl14 update is included on new moments?

Any help is appreciated!

Yes, if you go buy a new Moment the upgrade should be on it.

I'll vouch for this. I've seen it in several posts made by new Moment owners since the CL14 update hit the stores. If you get it new, then you will get CL14... actually, even if you somehow got a refurb, you would still most likely have CL14.

I can confirm, as I bought a new Moment within the last 2 weeks. "Baseband Version S:M900.8.0S.CL14"

I can also confirm this. Had a friend get one about two weeks after CL14 was released and it was already coming pre-loaded.

New Moments in my RadioShack store have had the CL14 update for about a month now. The new ones will have the ESN sticker on the side of the box instead of the end, those will generally have the update preinstalled.

Went to the local sprint store today, and the rep told me they do not have the Cl14 update on them, and that I will need to do that myself...

Either that Sprint store is stocked with a lot of old Moments, or the rep is an idiot. Based on my experiences, I'd say it could be either one.

Buy it from RadioShack, the prices are lower. $70 on new contract, $200 on upgrade with no mail in rebate.
