Default Wireless tethering?

Ive seen other Android phones with this capability, including the G1 that also has 1.5. Does anyone no if its available for the moment? Ive tried an .apk for a similar phone with 1.5 but it said i didnt have the appropriate kernal? Oh and yes i am updated with the latest rom from SDX

Not sure exactly what you mean by wireless tethering. Do you mean using your phone as a wireless modem? Or do you mean like a bluetooth tethering? Whichever case, PDANet will let you do both.

Well i do have actual tethering through PDANet but ive recently found that you can turn your Android phone into a wireless router. Ive found the .APK file on SDX, let me know if anyone gets it to actually work as im stuck on the update part

It's not a wireless router, more like a wireless ad hoc access point.

I have this on my phone and it works pretty well. You have to use the sprint update utility to flash in speedrabbit's kernel, put the apk on your SD card, allow unknown sources in the applications settings, and then install it. It's fairly easy to do.

Works great as a wireless router in adhoc mode. Only one connection allowed at a time and I'm getting 420k download and 180K upload speeds pretty consistently (using it right now).
