I'm running DD10 root v7. In an effort to conserve battery life, I've turned off Background Data -- this is the only significant change to my usage in the past few days.

I've noticed however, that I don't get the airplane mode any more (haven't had it for the last 3 days.) I used to get it fairly regularly if I ever turned WiFi on and left my "hotspot". I don't anymore.

Can some more of you try this out to see if you also see this change (that is, to turn off "Background Data")? I know some of you get it more frequently than I; I used to get it irregularly. Please report how often you used to get it; how often you get it now; what version of the OS you are using.

I havent had an airplane mode or cdma lock up for at least 5 days and I do have background data checked. I also use this phone heavily each day. I mean real heavy.
