Stupid button LEDs

One thing that's been bugging me about this phone is when I'm watching Netflix, with the keyboard closed and everything, the stupid navigation buttons (search, back, home and menu) won't turn their damn LEDs off. They stay really bright even if the screen is set quite dim. It's quite annoying.

I don't expect anyone to have a breakthrough, or any suggestions, I just wanted to voice my annoyance about this. It's a simple oversight really, probably a stupid problem with Netflix's app itself.

I know Cyanogenmod has a setting for this, so if you're rooted there may be an app that can do this.
