Default GolfLogix on a Stratosphere doesn't work for me. You?

Anyone else out there with a Stratosphere trying to run the GolfLogix app?

I used GolfLogix on my old first gen Motorola Droid and it worked flawlessly. Gave me my distances to the green, hazards, etc. every single time.

Since I switched to a Samsung Stratosphere, though, the app has been totally unreliable. The GPS 'lock' flashes often and I get no accurate distances at all - about half the time.

Sometimes I can't find a satellite at all and thus can't find the course, even, and can't keep score.

GolfLogix is one of my biggest uses for my smartphone. If I can not get GL to work reliably, it's important enough to me that I will switch phones.

Anyone have any similar experience and/or advice? Thanks much.
