I have lost the messaging icon on my bottom row menu When the phone was new it had Phone,contacts,messaging, and Applications on bottom row. It has disappeared and no one at verizon knows how to replace it, except with factory reset. Anyone know how?

The green text messenger icon? Open the Applications drawer, it should be in there, long press it until the Home screen appears, then drag it to the bottom row.
