Talking Ultra Nice... But check this Out

I replied in an earlier thread that I wasn't to thrilled about the new release of the Transform Ultra because of the screen size etc. However, the reviews and overall performance appears to be superior to the Prevail so i would be interested in upgrading... BUT, I found this:

The ZTE Warp that is due out on Nov 2. This is the baby, hopefully, I've been waiting on! It is just right for someone who prefers the larger screen over keyboard. However it won't have the front camera. From reviews i hear this will probably be boost flagship for prepaid for a while: 5mg Pix Camera, 4gb internal storage, 4.3 Screen, etc.. etc.. check the specs out here:

ZTE Warp full specs

Anyhow, this is what 'm waiting for, fits me a bit better than the Ultra.

looks good, it would come down to (bigger screen + better camera) -vs- (keyboard + double the memory + video chat)

Boost must have a sweet deal going on with Android phones. They must have so many new subscribers with each phone that they just keep pushing the phones out!

Yeah, I think this is cool for prepaid users. I thought it would be quite a while before they introduce a larger screen, but with Walmart and T-Mobile striking a deal with some descent phone choices I think they know they have to get on the ball to keep their group happy.

I'm 43 and my eyes really need a larger screen lol... hope the ZET is fluent and fast.

You got it Smith.. I have complained about that for years on certain software and hardware, It just seems impossible sometimes to have all the great stuff in one package. There is always one item to have something the other doesn't and vise-verse.

If it cost more than 300 dollars it is definitely not worth it not for a bigger screen and 2mp if its in the 250-275 range then maybe.

I think I saw it will be 250 + tax + shpping... but my eyes are still good (lol no affence). The prevail was my first android comming from blackberry 8350 and I thought the prevail was spectacular compared to the bb. Now I got the ultra and it is a worlds difrance from the prevail... I will b sticking with the ultra for a while... I was even thinking of getting my wife one so I can video call via skype with my 18 month old daughter.

Actually it's only $20 more bucks than the Transform.. I've seen $249 and $269.

I would say a pretty fair deal if it holds to all the boast.

From what I have read its the same 512 of ram and the warp has 4g of rom compared to the 1g on the ultra. Either way I ordered mine today as its a large jump from my prevail. I hope we can get some dev on rooting this thing as quick as the ultra was!

I'm not too sure about this phone.. The company is known for making cheap devices, not saying it's a bad thing. Just a little hesitant to go with a company that is a little less popular.

Anyone know when this is slated for Bestbuy? I have the ultra now and am looking to get rid of it. I HATE the texture on the back and am very not happy with the sensitive screen, so the ZTE is looking like gold to me. Just need a date at Bestbuy.

As of right now it's $200 flat on the official boost site.

Looks like a steal

Never heard of ZTE though? Are their phones any good as far as quality, durability ect...
