Black screen - Is it a brick?
OK, where do I start...
2 days ago I tried to charge my phone like I always do & my phone didn't acknowledge the charger being plugged into it. So, I got a different charger, same thing - I took the battery out & let it sit all night without the battery. Come morning I plugged it in & it started charging. A few hours later I unplugged it, used it a few times & next thing I know it's black screened. The keyboard lights up, it notifies me when people are calling BUT since it has a black screen I can't answer calls, send texts or anything.
It's rooted so I want to make everyone who reads this aware.
I'm HOPING It's not bricked BUT then again, that gives me reason to get the Samsung Galaxy S2 (just don't want to right yet)
Since ur rooted I assume you probably have cwm. Try booting it straight into cwm and see if you get anything. Its not a brick since everything works but the screen

That phone has NEVER, & I mean NEVER EVER touched water. Samsung just lost me as a customer & that's all I'm gonna say about that.
Even though the phone "never touch water" is likely to happen. By leaving phone in the bathroom while taking a shower , on your pockets ect ...is well know that humidity will cause "water damage" to any phone ...

Nope, Just sending it back to me. Ya know, it's not the looks or what-have-you that have me purchase the product - it's the customer service that is what makes it worth it. I'm not going to bash Samsung but I'll never buy another Samsung product.

Believe it or don't - I don't tote my phone everywhere I go. No back pockets, no laying on the counter while I'm in the shower, never used it in the rain or the likes. My phone gos only 3 places - Top of my dresser, by my ear & on the couch. I even have people that tease me about it because they automatically know where my phone could be. I'm anal when it comes to my phone - it's like my whole life
