Default Sprint Navigation

Another newbie question.

Does anyone know why Sprint Navigation is not included with Transform? Did anyone hear whether they will include this in the upcoming upgrade in Android 2.2?

It comes in the Sprint ID pack, I believe. I haven't installed it though - with the Google Nav, I don't see a reason for it.

Google Navigation is much better, being free, and it is updated on a frequent basis.

they changed the name to telenav and it comes in the sprint id pack then you can uninstall the id pack and keep the telenav app. but i agree with everyone else the google navigation app is way better. always 3d view instead of overhead view when no destination selected.

I like the interface of the Google Nav app better, but the Telenav app has several features Google doesn't, such as more routing options and traffic monitoring (Google will *show* you traffic but doesn't (as far as I can tell) take traffic delays into account in its routing algorithms). I use both.

It's a beta component of Google Maps. Go to the Google Market on your Transform, and do a search for "google maps".
