by far, that theme is the most exquisite i've seen so far, makes the phone look like it would cost 3grand.
is that the full or demo version, how much is full, and what is the difference between the two?

BeautifulWidgets doesn't have a demo version, so the only thing there besides that is LauncherPro. The full version is a couple of bucks, and it allows for resizing of widgets and creating custom desktop shortcuts (and I'm sure some other stuff). What he's done though can be accomplished with the free version for the dock, and Desktop Visualizer for the icons on the desktop.

what do you mean the only thing there is LauncherPro? He is running a theme, he said so, and even gave a link.
I have been playing around a little and am beginning to like the way it is shaping up. I really like the grayscale wallpapers with just a hint of color. I will probably change the one I have but I am having a hard time finding something I like better.
Just go to google image search and type in "phone icon png" or "files icon png" etc..you can even use jpg too.....try to keep the icons at 48x48 for best effect....simply copy the files into your external sd card and use bettercut to change the icon shortcuts to the pics you chose.......sounds confusing but it's very simple to do and people just FLIP when they see my home screen.

I knew that, but how do you place the icon packs downloaded in the gallery? I only have the LP icons in my gallery.
You don't need to use better cut in the dock. Launcher pro gives you the option to use custom icons.
You can also press and hold and select "change icon" and select "custom icon" if you've already added a shortcut.

Mine isn't that great: it's just some icons I made/altered.
My favorite part is the live wallpaper (combined with beautiful widget) that changes depending on the weather. The location of the sun/moon also changes depending on the time of day
so I'm a new droid user and I have the Samsung Vibrant right now. Now these displays you guys have are seriously something else and i was wondering how do i go about getting something along those lines? Any place to go to learn about it for newbies?

You're in the right place
Most of the stuff you see can be done with downloads from the marketplace.
LauncherPro (free) - (or LauncherPro PLUS-paid) will basically replace your default launcher allowing you much more customization options.
BetterCut - will allow you to change icons for applications on your home screen(s)
Then there are things called "icon packs" that will give you different icons to use with BetterCut.
I suggest you go into the marketplace and search for some icon packs

and how did bradanomics earlier in this thread get his pandora and weather apps to display like that? are those apps?
