I use, "Group My Apps" It works pretty nicely. You could also create/name new folders.

I use folders on my home page. Just click and hold on a blank space on the home page and add a folder. Click the title and change the name. I don't like scrolling between mutiple homepages, so just have one with multiple folders in categories like you describe. Click the folder, then click the desired app.

Great suggestion, is there a way to change the icon of the folder?

Good question. I hadn't pursued this, but Googled "change android folder icon" and found a number of articles and posts. This one suggests an app called FolderOrganizer.

Change Android folder icons: Here's how - Computerworld Blogs

There's a free version so cheap enough to try out.

Edit: Tried it and unfortunately it does not allow changing existing folder icons. It does allow creating new folders, so you can set them up from scratch and get what you want.
