Default Cant get past 3e recovery. HELP!!!

Kinda a newb here (but, catching up fast!). Been racking my brains out trying to get custom rom onto my vibrant w/ stock froyo (build number UVKA6). Found out if i download a kernel with clockworkmod using odin (or, winrar), then cwm would be my gateway (trojan horse?) into the custom world. Cant find one odin compatible! Tried speedmod, deadhorse, cyanogen, nothing but frustration! Im pulling my beard out(already bald) over this! HELP!!!

With this build, mods are are blocked out when rebooting. Fails "signature verification". Most xda posts are over my head. Any other other ways around it? Besides going back to eclair?

AIO is on XDA developers Vibrant Forum(top of page). Install AIO on your Home Computer & connect phone via USB. Make sure you are rooted, then start odin then plug in USB. It make take a few tries, but it works. 2.1 has 2e recovery on it. You can download a ROM to a folder on your PC & flash through AIO. I just booted into recovery & didn it manually. XDA has many guides. Follow NOOB GUIDE/VIbrant Bible/AIO. I am using trigger 3.2 Final its 2.2 based(very stable & smooth).

flash back to ECLAIR then install. worked perfectly! Install rom manager, busybox, titanium backup/astro file manager. Super Manager is good also.

Thanks for the info! I'm rooted again (finally) since the update. I had it souped up w/ eclair before (actually, the only problem I had w/roms was when I bricked it doing the official 2.2 update!), aio I know it will work. Thanks again guys.
