Default Some advice on a high security smartphone?

Morning all,

I am looking for a new phone for my wife. She has always used Samsung phones because of their high security settings ie Password locked SMS, Data on Phone, Calls, Photos etc

She needs this level of security as she is a teacher and needs to protect herself against the kids. But the issue is she wants a new smartphone, but I am not sure whether the new Samsungs have this level of security!

So could someone guide me in the right direction for the right phone?

Thank you.

If she likes Samsung you should check out the Galaxy S3 forum.

Also, its not something I've ever checked into, but I would guess there are apps in the Play Store that would give her the level of security she wants.

Protect her from the kids or from you? Lol. I recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note or S3.

Indeed, she already had one phone stolen by a kid who luckily wiped the data and password protected it for himself!! Next time she may not be so lucky.

So I am going to pick a phone that I can root for maximum protection (Lock recovery mode) and grab some high security phone software.

Samsung nexus, or galaxy s3. Simply, these phones run android 4.0 ICS, the newest android version that has the most security features at the moment, like face unlock where the phone will only pass the lock screen if the front camera recognises the face it's set up with along with back up passwords, patterns and even speech recognition. The two most secure phones out there at the moment.

Hope this helps

Yeah but face unlock can easily be tricked with a photo of the person.
