So if you have enabled security, screen lock with pin or pattern, it will prevent you from fully utilizing touchless control (OK Google Now). That is you will have to actually touch the phone to put in the code and then let the phone act on your voice command.

There's quite a few brand new, in boxes Moto X's on ebay right now averaging $500-$550 out the door. That means up to $150 less (counting tax you don't have to pay).
What's the deal with this? Are they legit? Anybody bought one?
Is it just me or does the ring volumes seem to be really weak that you have to put the volume way up. And when you do get a call, you then have to turn the volume down because you put it up too high in the first place?
Wonder if this can just be a software update.
