    Root Rooting confusion. Running 2.1 V3

    Okay, so as I am sure you are aware of. I have no clue how to root. A peer sent me to this forum to help. I am running 2.1v3 on my Droid Eris. And from most of what I have seen, you can only root from 1.5 - 2.1... so am I S.O.L? Please help. I really want to Root.
