I assume that there is information stored there that I would rather not share, so I want to clear the memory before returning.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Original phone and first refurb were Amoled, this one was not; so no common ground there.
Tried 2 batteries; so it was not 'hot' batteries.
No SD card inserted and no apps installed; so it is not a memory problem.
Drove to Verizon store so they could witness it; and got phone #2 reactivated...
and I am about at the end of it, so glad I called. I love this phone when it works, but these endless boot-loops make me want to throw it out the window.
It will be easier this time, since I finally rooted so have access to nandroid and titanium.
I have read all the theories about hot batteries...
I had to hard reset my DINC yesterday, so I am wondering what I really get for letting this service run. I am wondering if the name is more impressive than what I get. Thanks in advance; and if you have any suggestions for non-rooted backup recommendations, I am all ears.
I could no longer reference mine after the update, but found a fix.
I had the ringtones stored in /sdcard/audio/ringtones/ and everything worked fine for 2.1.
I moved them to /sdcard/system/audio/ringtones/ with Froyo and now I can refer to them again.
Maybe I can save someone else some trouble.
Today for no reason that I can think of, I am getting a blinking icon that represents 'Wired microphone headset connected' on my DINC. No headset is connected.
I do have a wired headset, and when I connect it the icon stays lit. When I disconnect it, it blinks continuously.
Any suggestions?
