    "T9" style keyboard app to use when messaging

    So, I'm looking into getting the One when it comes out on Verizon. The only thing I've found so far that I don't like about the phone is that it comes standard with a full keyboard for messaging, I hate this. Is there a way to change it to a keypad similar to what was on old flip phones and such?

    I'm thinking about buying an unlocked HTC One and putting it on Straight Talk. I know nothing about smartphones (Only had the 1 I currently use), and I've always been with Verizon. That plus I'm very un-tech savvy, means I know basically nothing about all this unlocked, AT&T/T-Mobile sim, etc...
