I used this to root then install a custom rom (CM7 via ROM Manager) without unlocking the bootloader.

Well, I took the plunge and installed CM7 on my nexus s and have a few questions for anyone who went from CM7 to CM9?
Is it better? Worse? Can you re-install all your apps from titanium backup? And finally, is it worth it?

I have a lot of stuff running on my phone and while cm7 is great, I found it was using too many resources and there were quite a few force closures and drops back to the homescreen, which would take about a half a minute to reload in itself. So I found there is another developer named Milaq who...
Can this be done? Because cm7 runs off of the 2.2 kernel and cm6 runs off the 2.1 kernel, right? But can you run cm6 if you have the 2.2 kernel?
I am enjoying cm7, but i have read it uses more ram for resources and I would like more ram for games.
