I plugged my Thunderbolt into my PC and it said:

The model name of your smartphone is T-Mobile myTouch 4G.
Is this because they use the same driver?
and even though I looked at 2 dozen root tutorials, I'm still scared shitless about breaking this thing. Is there a really really simple way to do this? I know PC terminology, but not Android. I'm coming from an NV Touch

So with Verizon I can get a new Phone every 2 Years. My question is, is it a Free Phone? I'm currently using the eNV Touch, and I'd like to upgrade. It seems like the Droid 2 is the best choice right now for Verizon, so I was curious if that'd be possible. The Verizon forums aren't really helpful
Well, the guy at Verizon was wrong, I'm not eligible for a Free Upgrade, I'm eligible for a Discounted Upgrade, which still puts my Droid around 200.00. I'm eligible for a FREE Upgrade in 3 Months, anyone know of any Rumored Droids?
