    Root beginner needs help with root options

    Hi All, Before I begin I have done some reading regarding rooting my HTC Evo but I am still unsure as to if I need it/want it. Here is what I essentially am looking for and hopefully you guys can tell me if i need to root to achieve it and if so which ROM to install to get those requirements...
