I have my F3 on Advanced Stock 8 ROM with SD Swap running and when I check Settings>Storage it shows the internal storage as my 32GB SD card with plenty of free space, and yet I'm getting low storage space errors and I'm unable to update and install apps.
Since root is required to uninstall bloatware and various factory-intalled apps I don't want, and I don't have root, I went to the Play Store on the phone and uninstalled the updates for some of those apps.
I found a setting to turn off auto-update for all apps and just notify me when an update...
My phone (LGLS775 Virgin Mobile) downloaded the Android System Update. It was on LS775ZV4 and it is now on LS775ZV5 after installing the update.
Anyone else have this phone and what version are you on?
Interested in getting an outer case/shell for my phone for protection. I like the idea of having a built-in kickstand. I'm assuming that with a thicker case I'm going to need to attach my Scoche magnet mount plate on the outside of the case?
Anyone else getting the "Important Update" notification from Voicemail? It is followed by some stray HTML "<BR/><BR/>..." which isn't exactly encouraging.
It says it improves compatiblity with Android 5.1 which of course we don't have on this phone, and also says it address some security issues.
Will this card work with the F3?

Last time I purchased SD cards for a phone it was recommended not to exceed Class 4, even though faster cards were available. But that was many years ago, and I don't remember what the reason for...
On my Optimus V, when I received a notification, the notification tone played only once when the notification was first received. On the F3, the notification sound plays repeatedly every minute or so until I clear notifications on the phone. I keep thinking I'm getting a new notification each...
Has anyone gone through all the apps that come with this phone and figured out which ones are not a part of the stock Android 4.1 configuration but were added by LG or VM and not really needed?
Everytime I boot the phone I get a notification from Applications Manager asking me something about "show more recommended apps for me". I say "No" every time (then it takes me to the apps list), but the notification keeps coming back at every boot. Is there any way to permanently dismiss this?
So I finally got a new phone, and it's time to retire the old broken down Optimus V. What's the best way to completely wipe the phone?
Should I start by removing the SD card so I can save that? Or does that need to be in the phone while I wipe it?
My Optimus V is rooted and running BACKside...
Anyone successfully get droid VNC server working on the Optimus V?
The app runs and looks as if it is working. It shows the IP address of the phone. But when I try to connect to it from PC with Tight VNC it just times out.
The power button on my Optimus V has completely stopped working. I ordered a new phone to replace it.
But how can I wipe my Optimus V?
I can't boot into recovery to wipe data/factory reset because the power button no longer works. I can't even reboot or power on/off the phone.
I can't pull...
This thread is to discuss car mount solutions for the Nexus 7.
I'm planning on getting the Brodit holder when it becomes available. I eMailed ProClipUSA customer service and they said they will sell the Brodit holder for the Nexus 7 when it becomes available, but they do not list it on their...
The screen keeps going to black momentarily and turning back on at random intervals during phone calls. This only happens during phone calls. Any reason for this?
Couple questions...
First Question:
Is there a way to edit the voicemail number on the Optimus V? I don't see any "voicemail" option in the Call Settings.
Second Question:
What is actually happening when you press the voicemail icon (little tape reels) on the phone app? Is it dialing my phone...
