    Help wifi performance

    for anyone running wifi .. once in wireless networks. make sure wifi is on and hit wifi settings, hit the menu button then advanced and set wifi to performance for faster speeds.. its not checked otherwise so you can get more out of the wifi by doing this.. seen this over on xda's site.

    quadrant benchmark scores arent bad.. im getting almost 1900 untouched out the box :) and im getting about 6-7mpbs download speeds tethering with easy tether on my home pc which is pretty descent ... considering my galaxy is rooted and lag fixed and hitting in the 5mpbs tethering ..

    speedtest.net server locations

    When I do a speed test from the phone via the speed test app..it says I'm on the west coast but I'm on east coast? When I do it on my pc via tethering from the phone it shows my correct location? Will my reading not be accurate since it says I'm in ca, says the closest server is like 20 miles...

    how fast..quadrant and speed test.net?

    i love doing speed tests and quadrant tests especially since owning the galaxy and always trying to make it fast.. out the box i downloaded quadrant standard and speed test.net from the marketplace.. quadrant speeds seem to be averaging in the 1500's which isnt bad .. and speed tests are 3.5-4.0...

    ok i got a rooted galaxy, i then attempted to do the lag fix from xda.. did as described ..turned the phone off then turned back on i get the vibrant and samsung on the screen, the tmobile music plays but no pink tmobile letters showing then thats it.. black screen.. buttons at the bottom light...
