    froyo 2.2 for virgin usa samsung intercept

    will the Virgin USA edition of the Intercept get the Froyo update? This is my first android phone so not sure what I am missing by using 2.1. Phone works great right now. but if i put alot of aps it will have slow down right? Also is there a way to upgrade the Sprint HTC Hero from 1.5?
