Now that 2.3 is officially out (via Android.com) us samsung owners must feel pretty bad. We are officially two firmware releases behind. :confused:
Good thing is now that the Nexus S is official and has the same exact specs as our phones I'm sure roms will come quickly for it.

So I have been having trouble using the wifi networks I connect to.
I first thought it was just my schools network that was all glitchy but no now my house network isn't working on my captivate.
It connects to them perfectly but when I go to the browser or anything else it says its not connected...
My phone has just been sitting on my desk locked for an hour now, I fully charged it and went to check and it says 96% already.
Is this because my wifi signal is weak and it keeps looking for one?
At my college we have this annoying web based login and my android phone doesn't like it. It connects easily but when I go to either browser or opera mobile it doesn't load the login page the browser still thinks it has no connection. Is there anyway to approach this in a better way or bypass...

Today I have been looking for ways to get better battery life. I was talking to my friend would has a galaxy s phone aswell and he said to turn off haptive feedback if you don't think its that important. the little vibration motor uses a lot of power to run. He has noticed since turning it off...
So last night i drained down to 0 and charged to 100. when I went to bed my phone had 100% battery life. All in all it drained to 41% overnight
My wifi is set to sleep never(but i get weak signal in my room) Could this be the culprit? Would I be better on 3g?
