    Help Help! I downloaded 2.1, but "updatelauncher" won't launch!

    I finally decided to enter the 21st Century last month, so I got myself a smart phone for a late Christmas present. Got the free Garminfone from T-Mobile, and I'm loving it. Love this site, too! I've only been lurking a couple of hours and I've already learned stuff!

    Help Is it possible and safe to delete stock apps?

    I'm a novice, so I don't even know what "rooting" means, let alone how to do it. But there are some things like flight times and visual voicemail and ciao that I can't see myself ever using, and I'd like to get rid of them. Are any of the app-deleting apps capable of removing stock apps?
