    cant set the message center number on galaxy 550

    hi i cant seem to setup the smscon my galaxy 550 can someone help me. i have tried the *#*#4636#*#* idea and it brings up the settings but the phone does not seem to hold thesmsc setting can anyone help with this. thanks leon
