Super excited for it arrive tomorrow and even more excited for my first android root & mod!
According to the "READ ME FIRST" sticky guide in this forum, rooting is different for 1.1 and 1.2 nooks. How will I know?
So everyone is getting excited for duocore phones rocking out on LTE but what will happen to battery life when a phone has to power two cores? And how much will big red charge for their new network speeds? $40? $50? $60???
Any validity to my concerns?
I live in the U.S. so I don't care about all these new phones coming out in the UK or whatever. I don't want to get a Windows 7 phone right now and I have no need for a tablet in the near future.

My eris screen is cracked and thankfully still working but still looking into a new phone. The Inc. was the logical choice being the predecessor to the eris and all but I feel like the Inc. is due for a price drop soon or HTC is going to drop a new keyboard-less Verizon device in November...
So I had this idea of mounting my old Eris to an R/C car and streaming the video feed with the Qik app. I think this will work perfectly on my campus since Wifi is everywhere. But I think the big downside will be lag between the video feed. I was hoping for almost a live view monitor haha...
